Karwa Chauth is celebrated nine
days before Diwali in the Hindu month of Ashwin, with a special place in the
hearts of those who love their better halves and want to protect them from
every problem.
It is tradition to make special
recipes for dinner on this day, such as Poori Bhaji, Aloo Tikki, broken wheat
kheer, dam aloo, and paneer makhanwala, which are served during dinner and
exchanged among married women.
